Benefit Concert for Hugworks

Local Musicians Come Together to Help Children with Special Needs - Sunday March 7th, 2010

Josh Ingram, a local musician in North Texas has gathered over 20 musicians for a benefit concert to help raise funds for children with special needs. The event will take place on Sunday March 7th, 2010 at Love and War, an epic family restaurant which embodies Texas, located near the Grapevine Mills Mall in Grapevine, TX.

Hurst, TX (February 18, 2010) Some of North Texas most talented musicians will put on a free benefit concert at Love and War located in Grapevine, TX by the Grapevine Mills Mall to help raise money for children with special needs. The concerts will start at 2pm and will continue until 10pm on Sunday March 7th, 2010.  During the concert there will be chances to win prizes and contribute to the cause.

All proceeds will go towards Hugworks, a North Texas nonprofit, which provides live musical programs for hospitalized children and Music Therapy for children with special needs. Through the power of music, Hugworks helps children by reducing fear, anxiety and stress when they are in the hospital and they provide Music Therapy for children with special needs such as Autism and neurological disorders. Over 3,500 children were helped last year in North Texas alone by these programs and almost 13,000 children, parents and health care professionals were served in Texas and throughout the nation.
