Letter from the Board Chair
Dear Friends,
I am honored to serve as Hugworks' Board Chair. My goal is to continue the impressive work completed in the past and build on the strong foundation established by its previous staff, board members and supporters. When I look back at the rich history of Hugworks, I am in awe of the positive impact we have had on the lives of children, families and healthcare professionals.
The benefit Hugworks has provided for children, not only in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and throughout Texas, but also in 41 other states throughout the United States, is simply remarkable. It is hard to argue with the fact that music is one of the most powerful artistic expressions humankind has created. The positive psychological and physiological impact it provides has been well documented within the healthcare community. Hugworks continues to be a powerful force for children as we harness the power of music to create its brand of Therapeutic Music Entertainment and Music Therapy. I am honored to be a part of this fantastic organization.
